Girls Varsity Field Hockey
Week of July 26 is a conditioning only week. Coach Miller and Howell are both traveling so there will be no official workouts. Please make sure you are running/conditioning in preparation for tryouts next week. Also, turn in your VHSL physical to Ms. Petruzzi. You can scan a copy and email it to her (email@example.com) or drop off in her mailbox in the main office. Also, please register on the rschools site which takes care of Emergency Care Card info and Concussion Ed. Please note this message regarding paperwork and the rschools website from Ms Petruzzi:
Friendly reminder that all paperwork is due by 3pm on FRIDAY, JULY 30th for kids trying out on Monday. Kids waiting until Monday morning to turn things in may observe, but we cannot guarantee a quick enough turn around in order for them to participate Monday. Attached is a quick explanation if you are having trouble w/the rschools registration.

Tryouts begin Monday Aug 2 for rising sophomores, juniors and seniors (@ 830 - 11am) and continue all week
Tryouts begin Tuesday Aug 3 for rising freshman (@ 8:30 - 11am) and continue all week
All tryouts are on the back turf field
Tryouts week of Aug 2 and Aug 9 - @ 8:30 - 11am (Aug 4, 5 varsity only has second tryout @ 5:30-7pm)
Practices move to afternoons week of Aug 16 and continue once school starts (@ 330-6pm)

Please pass the word to anyone interested in trying out. Remember for tryouts you need a stick, mouth guard, shin guards, and water (sunscreen optional). Field Hockey will host Green Day workouts during the summer on Tuesday's and Thursday's, 8:30 am -10:00 a.m. on the back Turf Field. See list of dates below.
You must register for sports and have a valid physical exam on file with the ATC dated after May 1st, 2021, before you may participate.
Bring water, a stick and shoes.

- July 13 and 15
- July 20 and 22
Please note, July 4-11 are a dead period and there will be no activity.
