Herndon Wrestling: Last week the Hornets defeated Washington-Liberty(42-31), McLean (37-33), Wakefield (51-27) and Yorktown (48-33) to finish the season at 5 wins and 1 loss in the Liberty District Regular Season. Previously the Hornets defeated Langley (39-37) and fell to the Marshall Statemen(30-42). The team is practicing this week for the Liberty District Championships at Langley HS on Friday, Feb. 4th beginning at 3:30 pm. Congratulations to Sophomore Alyssa Landrum placed 4th this weekend at the Virginia Girls Championships at Hayfield HS.
