Energy Drink Ban Announcement!

FCPS, for the health and safety of all FCPS students, has issued a BAN on the use and consumption of ALL 'Energy' drinks before, during and after school on school grounds and during all school and sporting events. Red Bull, Red Jack and Ronin are three of the familiar drinks on the list. Students will not be allowed to to have these types of drinks in classrooms, lunch or during an athletic or activity event. Most of the energy drinks are not recommended for children, even by the manufacturer. Use of energy drinks has been associated with irregular heart beats, central nervous disorders and even stroke.
